Friday Focus Morning Show – March 4

A new Shop Local program, a rodeo, local police strategies, water, and the city’s 60th anniversary were just some of the topics we touched on during the Friday Focus Morning Show this week.

IMG_0087In our first hour, Demetry Simonton of dropped by to talk about a new Shop Local Sierra Vista program that kicks off on March 5. We also have details on this weekend’s rodeo, the Hummingbird Stitchers Quilt Show, an acupuncture happy hour, and much, much more.

IMG_0086Sierra Vista’s police chief Adam Thrasher joined us during our second hour to discuss the recent shooting and school lockdown, the planned joint communications center, police training and other topics related to the police department.

IMG_0085And in hour three, Tim Cervantes told us about some great programs that will help you save money and water, thanks to The Cochise Water Project. We also heard from Adam Curtis, of the City of Sierra Vista’s public information office, about the city’s upcoming 60th anniversary and plans to celebrate the milestone.
