Friday Focus Morning Show – March 11

We live in a beautiful area, but do you ever get out to see it? Tourism has a huge economic impact on our local economy, thanks to both out-of-town visitors and area residents, and there’s a lot to see and do. On this morning’s show get details on various events taking place across the County this weekend, including the annual Fairbank Day.

We started the second hour by talking to Arizona travel writer Roger Naylor, who will be in Sierra Vista next week to talk about Route 66. We were then joined by Debbie Johnson, who is the state’s Tourism Director, who spoke about the importance of tourism to our local community.

Cochise College was the focus of our third hour. Colin Shannon talked about upcoming important dates for local students, while Clyne Namuo gave us an insight into the Computer Information Systems department.

You can listen to each hour by clicking on the links below – the first hour starts about seven minutes into the broadcast.
