If dinner and a show sounds like your kind of entertainment then you won’t want to miss our interview with Tommy Kelley of Theater on the Move. This Sierra Vista theater company, founded in 2014, will present “The Case of the Riverboat Murder”, a murder mystery based on Agatha Christie’s”Death On The Nile”, July 21-24. Well known community member Dee Foster dropped by to talk about the talent show and street dance taking place on July 3, hosted by the San Pedro Kiwanis. Lisa Mara is the Communications and Community Relations Administrator at Cochise County, and she joined us during the second hour to talk about a number of services and programs offered by the county, which many may not be aware of.
During our final hour we had a great discussion with two leading medical professionals from Canyon Vista Medical Center. Crystal Corbett is the director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and talked about the importance of the department to local heart patients. And Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Brian Daines gave us an insight into the new Bone & Joint Institute, which will include a pioneering joint camp, aimed at educating patients about what to expect before and after surgery.
