We had a record number of guests throughout this week’s three-hour show, including Wayne Gregan to tell us all about the upcoming Southeast AZ Contractors Association Home & Garden Show, and Eva Dickerson from the Sierra Vista Unified School District. Cowboy singer Randy Huston gave us a wonderful taster of this weekend’s Cochise Cowboy Poetry & Music Gathering, and Herald Editor Eric Petermann was with us for the first hour – watch out for a behind-the-scenes article in this Sunday’s paper. In the second hour, fourth generation ranchers John Ladd and Fred Davis gave us a fascinating insight into the life of ranching on the border, and the efforts being made in the conservation arena. And in our final hour Cody Bosley and Kay Barnes, members of the Cochise County Student Government, dropped by to tell us about some upcoming events. Our final guest was Beth Orozco, one of the organizers of the Cochise College Creative Writing Celebration. You can hear all three hours by clicking on the links below. Don’t forget to tune in every Friday at 7am on KTAN 1420AM.
